A short flight takes you over the high Andes and down to the Amazon frontier town of Puerto Francisco de Orellana (called Coca by the locals). From here, you travel by motorized canoe downriver for two hours on the Napo River before arriving at La Selva -- your home for the next few nights and base for an incredible Amazon travel adventure! Discuss the many options for excursions during your visit with the naturalist guides and set out an itinerary based on your interests.
La Selva Eco Lodge brings you deep into the Amazon Jungle, offering close encounters with wildlife, rainforest trails, and rich biodiversity. Guided excursions are customized to fit your interests and are led by native and naturalist guides who accompany you on both day and night adventures. Spot birds, monkeys, turtles, caiman, and owls, or visit a local community to learn about traditional village life. Join your guide for birdwatching, nature walks, cultural exchange, or photography outings. Night canoe rides and forest walks offer a chance to experience the jungle’s nocturnal sounds and wildlife.

After an early breakfast, head back up the Napo River for the flight back to Quito to complete your Amazon tour. At the airport, you are picked up and transferred to your hotel, and have the evening free to enjoy Quito.

Initial deposit is $400 + Internal Flight Cost, and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card.
Final payment is due 70 days (10 weeks) prior to departure by bank transfer, check or credit card. All final payments by credit card may be subject to a surcharge and maximum of $20,000 charge
